          • VPN Router 1010

            The VPN Router 1010 has been Manufacture Discontinued as of May 1st, 2008 but on-hand inventory is allowing orders to be accepted until March 31st, 2009.

            For customers looking for an alternative solution, Nortel continues to offer higher-end models of its VPN Router family, including the VPN Router 1750, and the VPN Router 2700/2750, which provide the same security and routing functionality in a higher-performance platform. For customers looking for a lower-cost replacement, the Business Secure Router 222/252 and the Secure Router 1000 Series are other migration alternatives. All these products provide secure IPsec-based VPN, stateful firewall and IP routing services.

Nortel recommends you migrate to the VPN Router 1750 which offers four expansion slots in all configurations and can integrate a range of LAN, WAN and acceleration cards for fan-out and back-up purposes.
