The Ethernet Routing Switch 5510 models are premium, fixed-format, Stackable Ethernet Switches that provide high-performance Gigabit Ethernet connectivity and can scale as a pay-as-you-grow 'Stackable Chassis' solution.

Both models are compact (just 1RU high) and provide either 24 or 48 ports of 1000BASE-T including 2 x Combo 1000BASE-T or 1000BASE-SFP Uplinks ports.  The Switches include built-in high-speed Stacking interfaces and ship with a short Stacking Cable.  Power redundancy is supported by the external RPS 15 solution.

The ERS 5510 Switches are ideally suited as high-performance Wiring Closet LAN Switches in contemporary Enterprise Desktop deployment scenarios, where Gigabit Ethernet is regarded as a strategic requirement.  The ERS 5510 Switches also have a role in Server Aggregation in the high-performance Data Center.
