Upgrade to the Ethernet Switch 425

Effective July 1, 2005, the Ethernet Switch 420-24T will be  Manufacture Discontinued .

Nortel recommends you migrate to the cost-effective Ethernet Switch 425-24T . Ethernet Switch 425 has the same functionality of the Ethernet Switch 420 and stacks with Ethernet Switch 420 using version 3.1 software. In addition, the Ethernet Switch 425 offers the following advantages:

• Higher switch fabric architecture (16 Gpbs vs. 12.8 Gpbs) 
• Twice the number of Gigabit slots (2 x SFP ports vs. 1 x GBIC port)
• Supports newer software with features such as 802.1w, 802.1s, and 802.3ad.
