IP Trunk and Internet Telephony Gateway (ITG) Trunk enable organizations to add their Meridian 1 systems to a  Enterprise IP Telephony network. This allows internetworking between Business Communications Manager, Communication Server 1000, and other Meridian 1 Systems over an IP network. IP Trunk runs on a single-slot Media Card linking one or more Meridian 1 Systems together in a private IP WAN network.

• Enables networking of services to tie together distributed sites served by Meridian 1, Communication Server 1000, and Business Communications Manager (BCM) systems.
• IP Trunk utilizes ISDN D-channel signaling, H.323 protocol, and standard TCP/IP packets, allowing seamless networking between Meridian 1 Systems in a enterprise network.
