The WLAN Security Switch 2250 is  manufacture discontinued  as of January 1, 2006.

Nortel recommends that customers wanting to expand existing WSS 2250 systems immediately assess their needs and place orders prior to the last time order date of February 28, 2006.  Customers planning to implement a scalable, secure and high performance WLAN solution should evaluate the new  WLAN 2300 series  which features a managed access point architecture that is optimized for mobile voice and multi-media applications.
