The WLAN Security Switch 2270 is  manufacture discontinued  as of January 1, 2006.

Nortel recommends that customers wanting to expand existing WLAN 2270/223x systems immediately assess their needs and place orders prior to the last time order date of April 30, 2006. Customers planning to implement a scalable, secure and high performance WLAN solution should evaluate the new  WLAN 2300 series  which features a managed access point architecture that is optimized for mobile voice and multi-media applications.
