Metro Ethernet Manager (MEM) is Nortel’s element and domain management solution for the Metro Ethernet Networks portfolio. Part of Nortel’s total Metro Ethernet Service Operations System, MEM provides a common user interface across the MEN portfolio, improving familiarity and ease-of-use.

MEM brings the best of packet-based and circuit-based operations, administration, and maintenance (OAM) technologies together to allow providers to simplify the existing operational model and capitalize on the performance, bandwidth and cost-curve benefits of Ethernet.
